50 Questions to free your mind...

I got the idea from Ali, and the website http://www.marcandangel.com/2009/07/13/50-questions-that-will-free-your-mind/   I don't intend to finish them all now, but I figure it will be a good way to spend my lonely time until the baby comes...

1. How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?

I would be somewhere around 35 and 40 I think. I have always been old for my age, but then again I certainly do not feel ready to have a baby.. in that aspect I feel like I'm about 18 and totally not ready for this huge life altering event...

2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
Never trying. I'd rather try and fail at something, learn from my mistakes and try again than never try at all.

3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
Because we have to. You have to work whether you like it or not so that you have money to live with. And some things we may like, but not have the ability to do due to money restrictions or talent restrictions etc.

4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you've done?
ha! Probably. But only because I tend to talk big but I don't usually mean what I say (like I'm gonna slap that b*tch!) lol

5. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
I'd like there to be no poverty so that no child has to go without fresh water, food or their parents b/c they died from disease..

6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
Oh wow.. I have no idea... I honestly don't know if I'd rather work at a job or stay at home and be a mommy or do something else entirely. I think that's why it's taken me so long to decide "what I want to be when I grow up"..

7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
for the most part right now I am doing what I believe in.. Going to school to further my education, doing the best I can by my baby girl. But even before that (and I am NOT judging anyone here) I waited to have kids till after I was married, which is something I believe strongly in. I am thankful that my mom taught me not only about abstinence but also about protecting myself if and when I chose to become intimate with my boyfriends. It saved me so much grief.

8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
I would be doing a lot more, sleeping less and probably would have had several kids by now because I would have been pushing to get married sooner, lol.

9. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
I feel that I have controlled my life as much as possible. I had issues with being swayed by other's opinions when I was younger, and I'd like to think that now I am old enough and secure enough in my own ideas to take control. Then of course there are some things that I couldn't control.. dad's death being a major one.. I think God has his hand in every turn my life takes, sometimes he lets me drive but other times He's got His own plans...

10. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
For the most part I'm worried about doing the right things right. So both? LOL I want to do right by my family, my husband and baby. I want to do what's right for my little girl but in doing so I know that I'm going to screw up along the way. Like with discipline, there are so many ways doing something so right (correcting my child when she acts out) can go so wrong. But I'd rather be the parent who does everything she can to create a happy, healthy, functional member of society.

11. You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire.  They all start criticizing a
close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend.  The criticism is distasteful and unjustified.  What do you do?
Tell them that instead of projecting their criticism outward at my FRIEND, they should look at their own lives. People who feel they have to talk about others behind their backs are obviously not someone I need to look up to.

12. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?
To live life to its fullest. There's never a moment that shouldn't be cherished because life is too short even if it lasts 100 years...

13. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
Absolutely. Well, for my husband and baby girl, I would do anything short of something that could get me sent to death row... I think that I'd be more use to my family outside of prison..

14. Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
Only at the art museum :)

15. What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
Love. Everyone loves differently, that helps make us each unique.

16. How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?
Well, as I said we are all unique individuals. We have different hopes and dreams, we all love differently and live differently. Winning $1000 would make me extremely happy, but for someone who has hundreds of thousands of dollars winning $1000 might not even phase them.

17. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?  What’s holding you back?
Oh my gosh... finish the baby's room! I am lazy and sore and tired most days so it makes me not want to work on anything.. but well... I've got about 16 days to get my act together! lol

more later!!!!

  1. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
  2. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
  3. Do you push the elevator button more than once?  Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
  4. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?
  5. Why are you, you?
  6. Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?
  7. Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?
  8. What are you most grateful for?
  9. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
  10. Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first?
  11. Has your greatest fear ever come true?
  12. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset?  Does it really matter now?
  13. What is your happiest childhood memory?  What makes it so special?
  14. At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?
  15. If not now, then when?
  16. If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?
  17. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?
  18. Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?
  19. Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?
  20. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?
  21. Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?
  22. Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before?
  23. When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in?
  24. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?
  25. Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous?
  26. What is the difference between being alive and truly living?
  27. When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right?
  28. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?
  29. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
  30. When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing?
  31. What do you love?  Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?
  32. In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday?  What about the day before that?  Or the day before that?
  33. Decisions are being made right now.  The question is:  Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you?

March is coming..

So I just realized that there's only one and a half more days of February left until March arrives. So I have very little time left until I can say "I'm due this month!!" It's CRAZY and scary and nerve wracking and I can't believe how fast time has gone! I still have so much to do! I think I'm going to go get our changing pad today or tomorrow, so at least we'll have that.. and I have to call the hospital to make an appointment to get our car seat inspected.. yikes. I really need to get that done! I still have to figure out what to put in my hospital bag, other than what I've got. So far I have a pair of slippers, a breast feeding tank and bra, my toiletries and a newborn outfit for my little girl to come home in. I still need more clothes for myself, a bigger outfit for baby and ick.. underwear, along with socks for me and baby.. I need to sterilize a pacifier or two to take with us because I don't want the hospital to give the baby a Soothie.. Don't want her getting hooked on those when we've got so many Nuk and orto pacifiers. Plus I still need to sterilize my breast pump and the bottles we got the other day... Yes I know I don't "need" to sterilize them, but I still want to. Just to be on the safe side. Ya never know!

Full term today!!

How far along? 37 weeks!! Only 3 weeks till my due date!!!

Total weight gain/loss: Still only about 10lbs up.. I'm just worried that I'm not doing enough for my little girl...

Maternity clothes? I found a new place that sells all kinds of stuff for under $10!! But I resisted the urge to buy more maternity clothes, I only have 3 weeks left after all!

Stretch marks? Thankfully just the 3 ugly red ones, the one is starting to get a bit longer.. ugh

Sleep: it's a crap shoot whether or not I'll get any sleep on any given night.. sometimes I sleep really well, other nights I'm up way too much. I'm just glad I still have nights I can sleep!

Best moment this week: talking with hubby last night for hours!

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything?  yup, food. Sweets, pop that isn't diet coke with Splenda (the only one my Dr. approved) not having to exercise right after eating to keep my sugar down... seriously some days I just have no frickin' energy!

Movement: still everyday thank goodness, tho her routine has changed a bit. She's no loner an early morning girl, I get maybe a few movements if that until after lunch, then she's up for the rest of the day for the most part!

Food cravings: an ice cold regular Coke.. and cinnamon.

Anything making you queasy or sick: STILL string cheese... lol

Have you started to show yet: Yes, and I'm measuring right on track so far thankfully, although my Dr. didn't measure me at my last appointment, I'm going to ask her to do it this week. I want to make doubly sure I'm still actually growing!

Gender:  she's a girl! :)

Size of baby:  At my last ultrasound she was 5lbs 5oz and we couldn't tell her length..

Labor Signs: None thank goodness! I want her to keep baking for a while yet!

Belly Button in or out? In, and I don't think it's going to ever pop!

Wedding rings on or off? On and still slide around

Happy or Moody most of the time: moody.. sad moody.. I'm always moody! Yesterday was pretty bad, and my hubby wasn't making it much better (he has mood swings too!)

Looking forward to: my next Dr. appointment this week, I have more questions to ask and I'm hoping maybe a little progress will have been made.. who knows!

37 week check up and nst..

I've notice that I've been blogging a lot more lately.. it used to be just once a week. Now I'm on here every other day or so. I guess I have to do something to keep my mind busy with less than 4 weeks to go!

So today I went in for yet another nst and a Dr. appointment. The nst went very well, little girl was super active for us, and thankfully her heart rate was responding appropriately. Then I went in for my Dr. appointment and was asked by the nurse if I'd like to be checked this week. I gave it some thought and turned it down. First, I was not expecting to be checked until at least 38 weeks as per my Dr. Second, if I decided to be checked, and was not even the slightest bit dilated or effaced I would be upset. And there's no reason to be upset yet! I'm only just turning 37 weeks on Sunday (yay!) So in reality she has 3 long weeks to come on out. Truly though, the closer we get the more anxious I will be for things to be happening naturally. I figure, I might as well not rush the worry or frustration. I have been having a lot more BH contractions, especially today. Thankfully now I know what they are because I had one during my nst and the nurse pointed it out to me. Not that I couldn't tell by how I felt and what the numbers read on the screen, lol. I described a lot of what I've been feeling lately to my Dr. and she said it's all very good and that it means my body is prepping for the birth of my daughter. Also, she is not hanging out in my ribs which is a good sign but the pain in my cervix that tells me she's inching into her birthing position hurts! I got the go a head to start evening primrose oil too. Hopefully it will actually soften my cervix and allow me to go into labor naturally sometime in the next few weeks. I really really don't want to be induced, and my Dr. said that with the GD she doesn't want me to go very far past my due date. So hopefully all these BH and cramps are doing something so I don't have to go through an induction.

Oooh I got my breast pump today too! Brand new, Medela double electric with lots of bells and whistles (retails for $350) and I got mine for $150!!! I just gotta say I love love love resale shops! Especially when they get new stuff that's never been opened!

My scale says...

I've lost 2 lbs in the past 2 weeks. I wonder what my Dr.'s scale will say.. it's always wrong. And I'm pretty worried that baby girl is not doing as well as she should be. I don't feel like she's growing well enough, I'm not sticking out as far as I feel I should be which makes me think she's not getting as big as she should. Don't get me wrong, I don't want a huge 10lb baby! But I'm afraid her lack of growth isn't good. My Dr. didn't seem too concerned, but I hope I get another growth scan before too long. I was over 8lbs.. Hubby was almost 9lbs... why is our baby so small???

Baby movements

I've been lucky so far.. all my baby girls movements have been fun to feel and watch. But lately certain movements HURT! I'm grateful that the painful ones have held off this long, and that she's still not kicking my ribs.. but that does kind of worry me. I'm worried she's not growing properly.. and I'm not sure if she's "dropped" because honestly I used to feel her hiccups low in my pelvis but now I feel them near my left hip.. But then again, I keep getting these sharp pains in my cervix when she moves sometimes.. Craziness. I wonder if my Dr. can shed some light on this...

36 weeks preggo

How far along? 36 weeks today, hurray!!

Total weight gain/loss: I am up 10.8lbs not much more from last week

Maternity clothes? still just a few pants and tops, now that I'm off work I don't have to really worry about dressing up anymore, so now I'm mostly in sweats and t-shirts :)

Stretch marks? thankfully just the 3 and hopefully there will be no more!

Sleep: it's so strange, I seem to go in spurts. A few nights of good sleep followed by a few nights of restless agony then back to decent sleep.

Best moment this week: seeing my baby on my ultrasound on Friday! She's getting so big! 5lbs 5oz!

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything?  my grandpa.. he passed away early Wednesday morning...

Movement: every day, thankfully. Friday she was super active I thought she was rearranging furniture in there! lol

Food cravings: nothing special this week.. at least not right now, lol

Anything making you queasy or sick: not really as long as I don't think about string cheese...

Have you started to show yet: Yes, and I'm measuring right on track so far thankfully

Gender:  she's a girl! :)

Size of baby:  I've heard she's the size of a coconut.. I'm pretty sure that's unshelled,

Labor Signs: quite a few braxton hicks and some random painful contractions, but nothing regular or significant yet

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: moody.. sad moody..

Looking forward to: my next ultrasound and checking up on baby girls growth!

Oh my goodness!

Several of the gal's whose blogs 've been following have had their babies!! OMG! I know they were a little farther along than me (38 weeks to my 35) but I am sooooooooooo jealous! Of course I'm super happy for them too! I can't wait for Ali to announce that she's had her little one! I know it's strange, but I feel like I know these women, if only a little, from reading their blogs and getting to know them throughout their pregnancies. I'm so happy for them and their beautiful little miracles! Pretty soon it'll be my turn.. eek! lol

Pain and suffering.. with a light at the end of the tunnel

RIP Grandpa LaCourse, 4/26/28-2/15/12
We all love you and will miss you terribly. I have missed you for a very long time because you haven't been yourself since probably October. It breaks my heart to know that you did not want to suffer for so long, and yet you did. I am grateful that you are no longer in pain and hope that you're hunting and fishing up in heaven with Dana and Matt, and that you and grandma have reunited with little Denise and are happy. I wish you could have been well enough to meet my little girl, but I knew that with your comprehension slipping daily that you probably wouldn't have known who she was. I'm glad that I came to see you Sunday and that you recognized me. I made you smile for a moment, and that made me smile. For a second I saw my grandpa shine through the sickness and that moment will live with me forever. Thank you for calling me your favorite, for taking over as a father figure for the majority of my life. You've taught me so much. I have some wonderful memories with you, and I'm thankful for every one. I love you.

And with that, there is some happier news... Originally hubby was only going to take 2-3 days off work. The day I went in to deliver, possibly the day after, and the day I came home. Unless there were complications. I've been freaking out, because I'm a first time mom and I don't want to be all alone from the start. But now, he's been talking to the guys at work, and they all say that his company will give him a week off if he wants it. It would be without pay, but hubby gets a little more than a weeks worth of wages in his GI bill, and that will cover the week off. I really really hope the company is as forgiving as everyone says and will give him the week without question. So far it sounds like that's the direction they're leaning. I will be so happy to have hubby here with me for a whole week after our little girl makes her appearance! I'm really hoping I'll have her on a Friday, so I'll have 4 extra days (2 weeks of Sat/Sun) to spend with my family. But of course, I'm not banking on that... this little girl has her own agenda, lol.

Tuesday, February 14, 2012

Feeling kind of off today.. I've been too warm but my skin is cold. My palms have been sweaty.. along with other areas. Other than that I'm okay.. I've been getting some cleaning done (not enough to make me sweat tho) and made some phone calls, which have needed to be made for a month now. I got up a little late, so my eating and sugar taking is off somewhat. But it was the same way yesterday and I didn't feel like this. I'm starting to feel a little better, thankfully. And hopefully there's nothing wrong.. baby girl has been moving like normal so I know she's okay in there... If I start feeling worse I'm going to call my Dr. It would only be the 3rd or 4th time I've had to call this entire pregnancy. lol

On a happier note, I called in to tell work today that this was my last week I'll be working and requested to be removed from the schedule. So now I won't have to stand 4-5 hours at a time without breaks. I'm grateful that they are willing to let me take a "leave of absence" and if and when I'm ready I can call and be put back on the schedule. I'm not sure I'm going back to be honest. The first few months I want to spend with my baby getting to know her and then after I have to start school in the fall I'll be busy being mommy and student.. so hopefully I won't be so busy doing all that.

35+2!!

How far along? 35 weeks 2 days.. we're getting closer!

Total weight gain/loss: yet again I have lost weight. I am up 10.2 (which I know is only .2 less than last week, but during the week I went up to 11.4) so odd... my Dr even noticed this time..

Maternity clothes? just a few pants and tops, I'm very thankful that I don't have to spend a ton of money on clothes I'll only wear a few weeks!

Stretch marks? So far just the 3 I've had but the one is starting to look pretty ugly..

Sleep: going strong most nights. The past few nights I've slept a good 5-6 hours straight off the bat, then my cat wakes me up and I'm up for a while... ugh

Best moment this week: getting to hear my baby's heartbeat at my NST today!!

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything?  um.. heh, I posted a rant about this earlier..

Movement: still everyday thank goodness, and she gets hiccups at least once a day, usually around the time I'm trying to go back to sleep from being woke up by either the cat or hubby leaving for work. She's been kicking less and stretching more, so I know she's running out of space in there!

Food cravings: yup, sugar! soda, CARBS! lol

Anything making you queasy or sick: not really as long as I don't think about string cheese...

Have you started to show yet: Yes, and I'm measuring right on track so far thankfully

Gender:  she's a girl! :)

Size of baby:  I've heard she's the size of a crenshaw melon.. don't know what that is though

Labor Signs: None thank goodness! I still can't go past my due date according to my Dr. I think she'll maybe let me go a week, but probably not..

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: moody.. sad moody.. grandpa's not doing so well and my mom is just plain annoying...

Looking forward to: my ultrasound on Friday!!! Can't wait to see my little girl again and hopefully find out how big she's gotten!

A bit of a rant...

I miss the days of eating whatever I want.. No, I wouldn't over do it and "eat for two" but I miss eating carbs without a care and fruit in my cereal in the morning.. hell, I miss cereal in the morning.  I miss fruit juice and Tim Hortons ice capps, oh and their bagel belts with sausage.. I miss bagels and pasta and not having to eat the same damn thing every single day. I hate having to take my sugar 4x a day, my fingers are all so sore. I am losing weight, my Dr's noticed... doesn't seem concerned yet, but it's the first time my weight loss has made her say anything. I told her it's because of the gd diet and that I'm still always hungry. She brushed that off but wrote something in my chart. I WANT FOOD DAMN IT! I miss enjoying what I eat and not being scheduled to eat at certain times throughout the day.. it's annoying. But, in the end... if it keeps my little girl healthy I can suck it up. After all.. it's only a few more weeks... I hope...

It's a survey! About pregnancy! No way! lol

Pregnancy Survey!
Got this fun pregnancy survey from Ali on her blog! Loved her answers and decided to do my own! :)

1. What name did you and your spouse call your baby before you knew the gender?
I called her "Squishy" from Finding Nemo. Hubby just said "baby" for the most part, but now calls her "Peanut" :)

2. When did "Oh-my-gosh-we're-having-a-baby" really sink it?
It still hasn't completely sunk in yet! I mean I get moments of "we're really having a baby!" like when we saw her for the first time on an ultrasound and when I feel her really moving and grooving! But honestly, I don't think it'll be fully real until we have her home.

3. When you think of yourself as a mom, what's the first thing to come to mind?
gentleness and hopefully learning from my mom's mistakes.

4. Is your nursery complete? What's the theme and what do you have left to complete?
Almost done, we just have to finish cleaning up the side opposite of the crib and the closet... that and add some art to the walls. There's really no theme, they were all too expensive. SO I decided on PINK! :)

5. List 5 qualities you hope your baby will possess:
1. easy going, 2. good sleeper, 3. happy, 4. good cuddler, 5. her daddy's eyes

6. What's your ideal labor experience?
painless, 1-2 hour labor total and to have her out in 2-3 pushes. Yeah, right like that's going to happen! LOL

7. List 5 things that have changed in your relationship with your spouse since you've been pregnant:
We talk about being parents a lot more now. Really the changes that have happened between us have come as a result of hubby's new job, not my being pregnant.

8. List 5 things you think will change once your baby arrives:
#1. less sleep  #2.  Less free time to just surf the internet/play games  #3.  Less quiet time  #4.  More music  #5. more dancing/walking/bouncing!

9. Where do you think you'll be when you go into labor? Why?
hopefully at home.. it's why I only took online classes this semester!

10. Have you been talking to your baby? Playing music?
I do sometimes, mostly I just think to her. Hubby talks to her at least once a week. We've played music for her through headphones on my tummy only once, but she hears all the music I play in the car and such so that's good.

11. In what ways do you hope your baby is like your spouse?
Oh his eyes, his beautiful skin tone and ability to tan not burn. His easy going-ness, his fun loving nature... his awesome math skills

12. In what ways do you hope your baby is like you?
independence, love of animals especially cats, love of learning, musical interests, love for acting and being on stage... creativeness and artistic nature.

13. How long will you wait for the next baby, or if this is your last one, why/why not?
I am not sure if we will be blessed with another baby. I know I do not want them very close together, but not terribly far apart.. maybe 2-3 years. I don't want to get pregnant after 35 years old (I have about 6 years left) so we'll see how that works out for us. *It's higher risk of downs after 35, plus it's more dangerous for me so I just don't want to risk it...*

14. What kind of grandparents do you think your baby will have?
Well I wish I could say she will have grandparents like hubby and I have, but unfortunately both our father's have passed away and hubby doesn't speak to his mother.. that leaves my mom. My crazy, overemotional, always thinks she's right even when proven wrong mom. She's also got quite a lot of health issues as well as a drinking problem.. so I don't know if our baby will have any grandparents at all unfortunately.

15. Who will be with you during labor? Who will visit you in the hospital during your recovery?
My hubby and that's it. I told my mom she could come visit after I'm in recovery but I don't want anyone else there really.

16. How much will you tell your baby (child, teenager) about your past? Why/why not?
Eventually I'd like her to know everything about me. Her age and maturity level will dictate what I tell her and when. As far as hubby's past... we may or may not tell her everything.. and if so she'll be a mommy herself before she learns a lot of it.

17. Do you have any hopes for your child's activities? (Sports, academics, school preference, activities, etc)
I would love for her to be interested in playing a musical instrument! I hope she loves school and gets good grades and that she wants to be in the school plays and musicals. As far as sports.. if she's interested that's wonderful, but I won't be pushing anything on her.

18. When will you tell your baby about the birds and the bees?
I hope to have mini conversations with her throughout her adolescents, all age appropriate. Eventually I will tell her as much as I know, hopefully helping her to avoid making certain mistakes and having to wait till she's in her late 20's to learn certain things.

19. In what ways do you hope you'll parent like your parents did? In what ways do you hope you aren't like them?
I hope that I can instill the same values my mom and grandparents did, and to be able to have a very open relationship. My mom always encouraged me to come to her with any problem, question or anything. It was nice. I hope that I don't end up like my mom has in that she's very overbearing and always has to be right. She's basically pushed me away as an adult.

20. Which childhood memory do you hope your child will have (similar to one you fondly remember)?

Hmm.. listening to me and her daddy tell her bedtime stories, staying up late on the weekends and watching movies with us, playing cards and board games with us.. basically family time. :)

21. And finally, Be annoying! What "advice" do you want newly pregnant women to know?

Listen to your body, use common sense when choosing the foods you eat (like certain cheeses or deli meat, caffeine especially) Don't listen to anyone who says you are "too small" or "too big" for the stage of pregnancy you are in.. unless it's your Dr. Enjoy the attention you get from everyone, let your partner help around the house and praise the job he does even if it's not up to your standards! Don't let anyone else but you and your partner feel the baby kick. It's a special bond shared by people who created that life.

34 weeks .. 3-6 more to go!

How far along? 34 weeks! Still going strong!

Total weight gain/loss: From what I can tell, I'm about 10.4 up.. it's still up and down quite a bit

Maternity clothes? Still only the few articles from before, thankfully I'm still able to wear much of my old wardrobe.. although I'm not sure how long that's going to last.

Stretch marks? So far just the 3 I've had for the past few weeks.. thankfully. I really am not looking forward to baby girls growth spurt and seeing what that does to my tummy..

Sleep: still getting about 3-4 hours at a time, thankfully. But lately my kitty has been keeping me awake by trying to knock stuff off of the coffee table. It's soooo annoying

Best moment this week: hubby and I had a date night on Friday! Shopping for veggies and then cards nibbling on veggies and hummus! Then some relaxing time watching Heros. (Netflix rocks)

Have you told family and friends: Yes!

Miss Anything?  Still the same things from previous weeks.. but I cannot wait to sleep on my tummy again!

Movement: every day! :) I love feeling her move, and now it seems that her head is out of my pelvis b/c I don't feel the hiccups there anymore.. I feel them near my left hip... scary..

Food cravings: yup, ever since yesterday it's been those darn caramel chocolate apples we made yesterday for my shower

Anything making you queasy or sick: not really as long as I don't think about string cheese...

Have you started to show yet: Yes, but apparently I am not as "big" as I should be for 8 months plus pregnant (according to some people)

Gender:  she's a girl! :)

Size of baby:  she's about the size of a honeydew melon!

Labor Signs: None thank goodness! I still can't go past my due date according to my Dr. I think she'll maybe let me go a week, but probably not..

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: moody.. but that's b/c I haven't really seen hubby all week and when I do he's really tired and moody himself.. he's worked really hard this week tho, so I understand

Looking forward to: my baby shower today!
